Description
Those '90s alt rockers Dada, are back--you remember, the band responsible for that 1992 hit single, "Dizz Knee Land" ("I just robbed a grocery store, I'm going to Disneyland"). But they've changed their name to 7Horse and they've beefed up their sound with a bit of Black Keys-inspired blues rock and elements of country, folk and psychedelic pop. This new direction happened after Dada spent years struggling to get back on top and eventually went on hiatus. Drummer Phil Leavitt and Bassist Joie Calio started throwing ideas back and forth. They started 7Horse as a two-piece rock band with more focus on riffs and grooves, and obviously their love for two-piece blues rock bands. - Aaron Carnes sanjose.comMore Info
