Description
Best known for his work with Ray Brown, Diana Krall and Oscar Peterson, drummer Jeff Hamilton has performed on at least eight Grammy Award Winning recordings, and played with Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie Orchestra and countless others. With Christoph Luty, bass, Tamir Hendelman, piano.Three 35 minute sets on the 9 ft Steinway by Mac McCray of the SF Conservatory, Di Wu, and another pianist TBA.
Singled out in the 2008 Musical America feature, "Young Artists: More Thrills of Discovery” as one of the up-and-coming talents in the classical music world, pianist DI WU’s reputation as an artist to be watched continues to grow. “She takes all the difficult options and she conjures from the piano absolutely gossamer, violinistic textures, joyous humor, and brilliant air-borne tempos."
