Description
We have a show ready to go for 2010 on Joe's birthday this year, Saturday, 8/21 at Bottom of the Hill. There are some fine new bands to the tribute gearing up to play this year: Monkey, Sistas in the Pit and Stigma 13. In addition, an acoustic line-up of Interchords and usual line-up of The Hooks as well as Cliff Truesdell's Armagideons will be there to help pay tribute to Joe, celebrate his birthday and raise funds for Strummerville. It will be a fine night for people of all varieties.There will be a raffle again this year. One of the items is an autographed flier by Henry Rollins of the 2009 Joe Strummer tribute. We have 2 autographed fliers to raffle off. Strummerville and Clashical Threads have also donated great items-see the blog on the myspace site.
A Saturday is an opportune time for the world to celebrate Joe's life, music, spirit and birthday. Let's celebrate worldwide on August 21st!
