Baer Ridgway Exhibitions is pleased to present a new exhibition by Berlin based artist, Wolfgang Ganter.

Wolfgang Ganter was born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1978 and now lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe with Professor Andreas Slominski and received his diploma in 2004. Ganter has received various awards, among those one from the Offenburg Art Society, the Heinrich Hertz Society and the Graduation Grant from the State of Baden-Württemberg. Selected solo exhibitions include Orbis Tertius at FGS in Karlsruhe (2008), the solo show Der Tod ist kein Beinbruch at the gallery Karlheinz Meyer in Karlsruhe (2005) and Bo Ta Nik at the POLY Produzentengalerie in Karlsruhe (2001). Selected group exhibitions include Leinzell Open Again at the Sylvia and Helmut Wickleder Foundation in Leinzell, Germany (2006), Wir hätten das Land gern weit und rund und sie… at Showroom Berlin (2006) and Cabin Baggage at the Manuel Garcia Galería in Oaxaca, México (2005). Wolfgang Ganters works are in many private and public collections, among them the Museum der Moderne Salzburg.

This exhibition will run from Thursday, November 20, 2008 through Saturday, January 3, 2009. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, November 22 from 4 to 6pm. The artist will be in attendance.
