Description

"Wilderness has been an idea since the late nineties, when all of the members moved to Baltimore by way of St Augustine & Daytona. In between there was traveling - to California and back. Sometimes together, sometimes apart.

It all seemed to materialize completely around 2001, when a few shows were played and 3 years of recording began that would become the 1st LP. An eventual 15 day tour followed in 2005 to support it, quickly followed by the release of their 2nd LP in 2006 - "Vessel States". Wilderness hibernated in 2007 only to awaken and begin again in March.

Their songs touch on numerous themes like living through the end of capitalism, the beauty inherent in beauty, staring at the sky, listening to the woods, feeling the landfills topple and swell, vibrations in the market place, collective brain harvesting and the absolute falling all around the opinionated as the opinionated fall all around the absolute.
