The Garden was once a robust theater featuring rousing westerns, comedies, and lurid melodrama. It now exists as a banal, sickly-sweet, pastel miniature strip-mall-in-a-box with more advertisements on its marquee than a Nascar Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Emasculated, abhorrent.
