Rayko:
Born in the Canary Islands, Rayko is a producer and DJ deeply influenced by the artists and sounds of the 70's and 80's (mainly Disco, Electrofunk and Rock.) These influences led him to launch the label Rare Wiri in the summer of 2008, gaining immediate critical acclaim with it's first release making Record of the Week at Manchester's highly regarded Piccadilly Records.

Since it's launch Rare Wiri has had releases from a stable of talented producers, these include Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Phoreski, Marbeya Sound, Beat Fanatic, Ilya Santana not to mention Rayko himself.

Rayko has an impressive portfolio of releases under his belt and has an almost insatiable thirst for editing both classics and lost gems in his distinctive and infectious style.

As a DJ, Rayko continues to wow audiences around the globe with his trademark sound.

UP COMING GGL EVENT:
March 15th: California Academy of Sciences
Green Gorilla Lounge Powered by Rock the Bike

6-10pm East Pavilion

Rock the Bike
We’re bike people. We’re inventors and advocates working away in a sweet little workshop in Berkeley, California, pushing the limits of bike culture. Our dream is to help spread the spirit of the bike into the broader culture by organizing, entertaining, inspiring, educating, and inventing new ways to get the message out there. And more importantly, we help our customers spread the message in their communities.

Get a head start on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year with a pint-and-pedal-powered edition of NightLife. Join the folks at the United Irish Cultural Center for a performance by traditional Irish step dancers, and learn from local community organizations what it truly means to be green. Plus, learn the truth about four-leaf clovers from Academy botanist Diana Gamba, and find Irish beers and whiskey-cocktails at the bar. Music by Green Gorilla Lounge in an eco-friendly pedal-powered DJ booth from Rock the Bike.

April 27th GGL presents. GREG WILSON!!!!!!!! get ready!
