Oakland artist management group Musique Joue presents Noche Fantasia, an evening of global musical intoxicants. Headlining the night will be Vortex Tribe. With stellar musicianship, brilliant arrangements and galvanizing stage presence, the Tribe brings you to a worldbeat, acid jazz, and funk paradise.. Further forays into the funky fusion of east and west will be offered by the dancers of The Nekyia. The Nekyia presents a deeply sensuous cabaret experience featuring the finest in dance, cirque, trapeze, fire, and DJ beats. Sheer, trading in smooth melodies, deft rhythmic interplay and deep pocket will offer a sultry soul experience. The evening will be hosted by DJ Drumspyer, a gifted DJ, producer and percussionist, blending samples, beats and live Middle Eastern percussion.
