What would be Baobab without our great New Year Eve celebration. Ba-Obama won, and we are going to celebrate this new coming time with joy and happiness.One Visa for 3 locations. One Food buffet, Indian, Morocan, and Senegalese delicatessen served from 6pm till 10:30pm.
Live bands from Senegal with Youssoupha Sidibe, from Burkina with Yacouba Diarra, Belly dancing performance, Sambamora performance, Drum circle with fantastic west African drum teachers in the Bay Area.
DJs from out of nowhere, WaltDigz Anejo production- Timba -Salsa- Stevee B-Dancehall Calypso, Elimbe-Camerron, Alfie Macias-Afro Brazilian, Sogui so Good-French HipHop, Andrea- Middle East, Giamma-Indian fusion & Marco World Beat.
$40 advance tickets
$50 at the door
$30 after 11pm
10% of the proceeds will benefit under the Baobab tree non-profit organization that builds schools in Africa.
