Every second and fourth Sunday Kitty's in Emeryville hosts a 100% FREE BBQ. You get all of the goodies: barbeque ribs and chicken, potato salad, regular salad, watemelon, etc. There's an outdoor patio, a live dj spinnin reggae, an open dance floor and a bartender on deck to supply the spirits.The next one, which is sponsored in part by the Oakland Chick Project, is being held on Sunday, August 24th from 5 - 9.
*Kitty's is off of the Ashby exit and is accessible via the 19 and 72 AC Transit bus lines.
(BTW: the chefs work for tips so IF you're ABLE bring your pocket change ;)
