Description
Thursday June 28th sees the return of Nic Fanciulli. A firm club favorite here at Vessel and BASE, always one for setting the room alight and taking the club to the next level, this is a ‘date for the diary’ to say the least. Owner of one of the finest labels in the scene, the UK’s prestigious Saved Records. He’s a tastemaker and trendsetter in underground electronic music. Known for his versatile sets taking in all the many spectrums of house and techno even flirting with the odd classic house record, witnessing him DJ is always an experience like no other. One for the heads, but most importantly always for the dancefloor. He comes to us in good stead, off the back of his own run of Saved parties which has seen many of his contemporaries unite to play under the Saved banner at venues including Miami’s Set, London’s iconic Ministry of Sound and in his own back yard, the Source Bar in Maidstone. Cast an eye over the line ups of who’s played and it reads like a who’s who of underground house: Luciano, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Damian Lazarus, Matthias Tanzmann, Lee Burridge, Stacey Pullen, Robert Dietz, Subb-An and Guti to name a few… Tonight he comes to San Francisco, touring in support of his latest release, as he releases the next installment of the highly revered Balance series. Balance 21 sees him mix over 50 tracks across two CDs taking in tracks from artists that include Radio Slave, Ricardo Villalobos, Maya Jane Coles, his good friend Joris Voorn and his brother Mark Fanciulli’s smash hit of this year’s WMC Sacrifice.
