The uber-hip crowd and plush, modern décor make this Santana Row lounge a see-and-be-seen type of place. Cocktails and food at Sino are stylish, just like the well-heeled Santana Row crowd that lines up on weekends. At night, the beats at Sino get louder and this fusion restaurant and lounge turns in to a nightclub hybrid where inhibitions are left at the door.

Chinese. Don't let Sino restaurant's flashy style fool you. This Santana Row restaurant has brains to back up its good looks. The restaurant offers traditional Chinese cooking with a few modern riffs. The kung pao chicken lollipops are a must order. Entrees like the sizzling ginger beef tips are generally quite good, but the prices can feel out of step with what's on your plate. The lunchtime dim sum is good and don't miss the fanciful mixed drinks.

Done up in sexy red and black colors with plush, melt into your seat and couches, Sino's bar offers an experience in sensual sipping. Look for the bar's signature cocktails like citrus lemondrop and lychee sangria. -- Metro Bars & Clubs, June 16, 2010

Not only is this a sexy place with sexy drinks, but the dim sum is a knockout as well. While a lot of the regular menu offers contemporary riffs on Chinese food, the dim sum menu is pretty traditional and quite good. The dusky, clublike atmosphere and beautiful people make this place my favorite dim sum and drinks. Because really what is dim sum but Chinese tapas?

Even for someone who isn't a Santana Row person, Sino is definitely a guilty pleasure. Draped in billowing crimson and layers of gossamer, the sexy, provocative and über chic Far East stylings offer a knockout setting for sampling house cocktails and the menu of Dim Sum and Chinese fusion cuisine. The lounge fills in nightly with patrons equally as sexy as their chosen digs, making this the kind of destination that you can't help but feel fabulous lounging in.
