David "Ziggy" Marley made his debut at the age of seventeen with family band, The Melody Makers. Ziggy, the eldest son of Reggae legend Bob Marley, was heir apparent to his father. The spitting image of his father with talent and drive to match, Ziggy has found a middle ground - both faithful to his only voice and vision, and diligent as a custodian of the Marley legacy.Working hard to make his own name and pave his own way, Ziggy has gained renown both as a performer and as a philanthropist. Through his eight solo records, and work with The Melody Makers as well as his social activism with grounds like U.R.G.E., Ziggy has left a positive mark on the world; a message he embodies and spreads with his music.
