Westfield San Francisco Centre will kick off the holiday season on November 21 with the unveiling of San Francisco Ballet’s Nutcracker Under the Dome, a brand-new 3D light spectacular integrating performance footage of San Francisco Ballet dancers. Westfield’s iconic Dome will come to life each night with this light show that showcases the beloved Nutcracker in an innovative new format that promises to capture the imagination of young and old. The kick-off event begins at 3:30 PM when San Francisco Ballet Trainees will distribute commemorative tutus to children ages 8 and under followed by a group dance lesson at 4:00 PM. The San Francisco Ballet Trainees will then perform for spectators at 4:30pm, and a prima ballerina will flip the switch to debut the Nutcracker Under the Dome light show at 5:00 PM. The light spectacular is free to the public and will run nightly from November 21 through December 31, every half hour from 5:00 p.m. until the Centre’s closing. For more information, please visit
