Description
Never was the perfect re-mix as heralded a commodity as it is today; club mash-ups have become the preeminent asset of any DJ worth his cover charge. One of the best examples of local re-mix mastery is Wallpaper, a San Francisco trio made up of vocalist Ricky Reed, dummer Arjun Singh, and turntable whiz Eric Frederic. Besides dance-club worthy remixes (check out their take on Jay-Z’s “99 Problems”, the group also pens a number of original tunes, like the fun-filled (and strangely Lil’ Wayne-esque) “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell”. The song is downright hilarious, with a monster beat of course.
