Description
Although mainstream success seemingly alludes them, the Voodoo Glow Skulls have built a solid following during their 20-year plus career. Formed in the late ’80s by the Casillas brothers (Frank on vocals, Eddie on guitar, Jorge on bass) along with their friend and drummer Jerry O'Neill, this Riverside-based band continues to redefine ska-punk music. The band, which later rounded out its horn section with Joey Hernandez (saxaphone) and Brodie Johnson (trombone), combines hardcore punk with traditional ska music, all with a distinct Mexican flair (they sing songs in both and English and Spanish). Monkey and Dustonius Maximus open.
