The Foothill College Commission and Rotary Club of Los Altos invite donors to a VIP reception in celebration of the newly remodeled Foothill College Veterans Resource Center Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the VRC (Room 5403). Suggested donation of $25 will fund textbook vouchers for student-veterans.The event will also feature remarks from Aaron Glantz, reporter at the Center for Investigative Reporting and author of The War Comes Home: Washington's Battle Against America's Veterans. His book will be available for purchase.
