Another signpost up ahead. Civilization.

Before me stood the shimmering outside perimeter of the Great Library itself - massive fluted columns studded with precious stones and inlaid with gold. The wonder towered hundreds of feet into the air - almost surpassing the giddy heights of the Quetzalcoatl snake-god.

Crazed with hunger and fatigue I lunged forward. I had lost hope a thousand times a day, but now, there it was - the Lost Library of San Jose. Not a drawing in a some dew-kissed lad's picture book, but a real building with real books.

I scrambled wildly up to the golden walls, but there was no door. Only signs.
