This ostrich was giving me the evil eye.

When the ride started, a two year old boy sitting on a duck ahead of me began crying, causing his mother to hold him for the remaining revolutions. Before I could accuse the tot of acting like a baby, I began to experience a distinctly unpleaseant sensation of dizziness combined with a queasy stomach. The "up-and-down" motion of my salmon, combined with the "round-and-round motion of the carousel, was not agreeing with me. I began to pray for the ride to end. So ends my future career as an F16 fighter pilot.

I do believe the vertical motion of the animals on this carousel is excessive, and should be moderated if possible. In fact, I recommend doing away with all vertical movement. The round-and-round is more than enough excitement without complicating things with up-and-down.
