Rare interior glimpse of the elegant South Bay Yacht Club. It is festooned with flags and sailing paraphernalia from around the world. SBYC members have put a lot of work into their club house . . . and it shows.

Material used to build the room came from actual ship rigging. Binnicle-stays and chisel-nits serve as beam supports; chaffle-clews are used for molding and turtle-greaves. Truckle-blocks & spunker-booms add decorative touches to the walls and ceiling.

The bar itself is carved from a shucklestays sloughed to cat-cumbers bracing. Spindle-fish scrolls are etched into the bar-top.
