Description

The Gipsy Kings are a group of musicians that hail from Arles and Montpellier, performing songs in Spanish with an Andalucían accent. They are known for bringing rumba catalana, a pop-oriented music derived from traditional flamenco music, to an international audience, and their distinct style of music has been described as "Spanish flamenco and Romani rhapsody meets salsa funk". The Gipsy Kings released their first album in 1982, and they continue to tour around the world and record.
