The Front Gallery shows contemporary artwork by artists at different career levels. Exhibitions span various disciplines and mediums in both traditional and unconventional formats. The main criteria for shows and work in the gallery are that they be current, lively and compelling.

The gallery is located at 35 Grand Avenue, at the corner of Broadway and Grand in downtown Oakland.

The Front Gallery is a member of Oakland Art Murmur, host of Oakland's First Friday Art walk.
