When in visiting San Francisco, the Cliff House is the place to be for admiring beautiful sunsets reflected on pure liquid drama while watching cruise ships sailing by.

A Place and Style for Every Occasion
The Cliff House offers distinct and stylish settings to suit occasions of every ilk. Sutro’s is at once both casual and chic, offering a blend of modern style and architecture inspired by the rich history of the Sutro Baths. The award-winning wine list compliments the seasonally changing menu, which focuses on organic produce, locally and sustainably harvested ingredients, and the freshest, highest quality seafood. Also, the adjacent Balcony Lounge comes to life every Friday night with live jazz from 7pm to 11pm, and outstanding acoustics allow guests to enjoy the music whether they’re having dinner in Sutro’s or sipping cocktails in the lounge.

A Local’s favorite, the Bistro restaurant serves San Francisco classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Omelets, sandwiches, salads and famous options like the popovers and clam chowder are served in front of the same magnificent views the rest of the Cliff House enjoys. Additionally, the Bistro has an interesting collection of signed pictures of classic and contemporary movie stars to compliment its relaxed yet hip setting.

The Terrace Room—another elegant space—hosts the Cliff House's famous San Francisco Champagne Brunch Buffet on Sundays with seatings at 10:00 AM, 12 noon and 2:00 PM. This fantastic brunch, the "talk of the city", features unlimited food, unlimited Champagne and live Harp music. Due to popularity, reservations are highly recommended; parties of 8 or more are advised to call at least three weeks in advance.

Special Events and San Francisco Weddings
Since 1863, the Cliff House has been one of the finest destinations for special events ranging from rehearsal dinners to high-end business meetings. The Terrace Room offers floor-to-ceiling windows, a private outdoor terrace, modern amenities, flexible seating designs, and a neutral color scheme, making it the prime choice for San Francisco events. For weddings, this space can accommodate up to 120 seated guests or 180 for cocktail receptions. Meeting and seminar groups can have the space set up to accommodate as few as 40 to 60 participants, and seminar packages can be scripted to include breakfast, lunch and beverage service throughout the day.
