The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County is pleased to announce the Call for Nominations for the Be the Difference Awards has now opened and will run through Sept 15th, 2014.The “Be the Difference” Awards are about honoring the individuals, groups/ non-profits, and businesses who make their moments matter in Santa Cruz County through volunteerism. Who inspires you? Maybe you work alongside an extraordinary volunteer or have noticed the exemplary community work of a local non-profit or business. Share your stories and nomination with the Volunteer Center and together we can honor our community's most dedicated.
All nominees will be recognized at our 8th Annual Be the Difference Gala on October 28th at the Hotel Paradox and selected individuals or groups in each category will receive special honors through film and publicity. We invite you to nominate someone today!
