Description
The Poor House Bistro welcomes the Terry Hanck Band to its stage for an evening of "greasy soul rockin' blues". Influenced by the blues, soul and jazz music of the 1950's and early 1960's, Terry Hanck is well-known for his raw style of sax blowing, incredible range and gutsy vocals. After moving to California in 1965, Terry honed his craft when he toured with Elvin Bishop throughout the 1970's and 1980's. After striking out on his own, his solo band has been delivering a unique mix of New Orleans Gumbo, West Coast Jump and East Bay Funk for a sound that is sure to get any crowd moving.
