Description
Terence Blanchard is a talented Jazz trumpeter who has done it all, including scoring movies, running the Thelonious Monk Institute and leading his upbeat and bopping band, according to Metro jazz critic Andrew Gilbert.
He is more well known for having scored Spike Lee's films such as "Malcolm X" and "Clockers." His most recent film score was for the movie "Cadillac Records," which starred Beyonce Knowles and Adrien Brody.
In this rare free concert, he will be joined by his band which includes bassist Joshua Crumbly. drummer Kendrick Scott, saxophonist Brice Winston and pianist Fabian Almazan.
