Sid Morris specializes in traditional blues as well as boogie-woogie piano, with blues influences from New Orleans to Chicago to the West Coast and beyond. He has been performing in the Bay Area since 1970, and even performed at the very first San Francisco Blues Festival in 1973. Sid Morris has also recorded several solo albums and made guest appearances on countless other.
San Jose-based harmonica player Gary Smith has been an influential figure in the San Francisco Bay Area live blues scene. In fact, Gary and his band were among the first acts to hit the stage at the very first San Francisco Blues Festival back in 1973. He is considered to be the Godfather of San Jose Blues Harmonica, and has been a huge proponent of this instrument throughout his illustrious career.
