For well over a decade, San Jose country punks, The Shitkickers, have been spinning yarns about drinking all day and drinking all night--and then waking up to do it all over again. Since their debut, self-titled full-length record, released in 2000, the Kickers have been a staple of the downtown scene and its peculiar blended love affair with psychobilly and skateboarding. Also a part of that scene is Talky Tina--featuring members of the Odd Numbers and the Spitmuffins--who play a fun-loving brand of '90s-era alternative. Both acts take to The Ritz, along with Zombie Falcon, this Friday.
