Description
Join the San Jose Stage Company as they present their newest production, "Red". Written by John Logan and directed by Kenneth Kelleher, "Red" takes you into the mind of influential abstract expressionist painter, Mark Rothko. The story takes place during the turbulent times of the early 1960's, when Mark Rothko has begun work on a series of large murals with the help of a new young assistant. This production gives audiences an up close and personal portrait of an artist's ambition and vulnerability.
