Hung Lui is an artist known mostly for her paintings, which is from Chinese historical photography. This exhibit will focus on memory and death as she tells a story through five images,a three-screen video installation, that she took with her iPhone. The images consists of: burning candles; dead birds and deer; Buddha's hand fruits; and cloud formations in the sky, according to http://www.sjmusart.org. For Lui the photos reflect how images can bring back memories and presences of ones that have passed on and they also ask questions of how we remember people who have died.
