The Place

The Place is a local neighborhood bar located on the southern edge of downtown San Jose that’s packed from open to close with regulars partaking in the San Jose neighborhood dive bar staples of cheap beer, stiff drinks and rickety pool tables that cost about the same as a gumball.  The Place’s claim to dive bar fame however is having the longest bar in San Jose which is completely unverifiable because, after a few shots and a couple beers at The Place and drunken heads start to spin from the potency, the bathroom seems like it’s in another state and the bar just might run the length of Monterrey Road.
