Teske's German Restaurant and Bar

Teske’s German restaurant is the best place in San Jose for some authentic German cuisine served traditional style in either their rustically appointed dining room or their back patio beer garden.  The menu consists of down home German fare with the best schnitzel and spatzle this side of Bavaria and the selections from the bar reads like a German liquor store.  This San Jose German restaurant and bar, in addition to nearly every German beer produced, has one of the wickedest liquors ever bottled.  Jaegerti (the spelling may be off, but the description is right on) is like some form of German moonshine that goes down smooth so drinking a few isn’t a problem.  The dangerous incidents with Jaegerti at Teske’s Germania Restaurant and Beer Garden in downtown San Jose begin after about two of these blackout inducing shots have been put down and the rest of the night becomes nothing more than a good time blur.
