Using architecture developed by Intel called Ivy Bridge, laptops in 2012 are about to become even sleeker.

Courtesy of SV411.com, here’s a quick rundown of the latest technology news in Silicon Valley.

The MacBook Air’s thin frame and fast processing speed was the introduction of the beloved Intel Ultrabook, based on the Ivy Bridge architecture, and it will likely be used in several competing companies’ laptops over the next year.

Malware targeted 45,000 Facebook users in the UK and France, but it turned out to not be a big deal. But did you know 600,000 accounts are hijacked each day?

Netflix has big plans for 2012 after taking a beating last year. Included in the plans: a show called Lilyhammer starring an unimpressed-looking Steven Van Zandt. I don’t know about this one, Ton’.

Oh, yeah, Yahoo got a new CEO. His mustache is impeccable.
