The Law Library maintains a comprehensive collection of primary and secondary research materials including federal and California case reporters, statutes, digests, practice materials, encyclopedias, textbooks, study aids, legal newspapers, and other legal reference materials.

In addition, all law students have free use of Westlaw, an online legal research service, through which they have access to a vast collection of United States and foreign case law, statutes, secondary materials, law journals, newspapers, and other publications.

Students also have access to the Holt Labor Library, a privately funded in-house library containing over 6,000 books and pamphlets, videos and audiotapes, and periodicals focusing on the labor movement and socialist history in the United States.
