Description

This summer, in conjunction with the exhibition Thinking Outside the Frame, several artists will lead a series of printmaking demonstrations in the Spotlight Gallery. Artwork created during the demos will be displayed in the gallery throughout the duration of the exhibition to further illustrate and share the creative process with museum visitors. Artists featured in the summer printmaking series are members of the California Society of Printmakers.

Using a small table press, Jami will create vibrant dreamy prints using templates cut from plastic and rolled with non toxic water based inks. A history of printmaking and information about the press will be part of the conversation.

Jami Taback is an award-winning artist working in several disciplines, primarily painting, printmaking and drawing. Taback’s work has won numerous awards and is represented in public and private collections. Taback is represented by Annex Galleries, Santa Rosa, CA and a member of North Bay Letterpress Arts, Sebastopol, CA.
