Miranda Lambert got her first shot at Nashville stardom at age 16, but walked away from it when her producers tried to make her sound too pop. She got another shot in 2003 on the country version of American Idol, Nashville Star. She came in third, but does anybody remember Buddy Jewell or John Arthur Martinez, who finished ahead of her? In fact, does anyone remember anybody else from this show? In any case, Lambert's album, 2011's "Four the Record", continued her string of commercially successful, critically praised records and gave her her highest-debuting single in "Baggage Claim." The song "Better in the Long Run" on the record is a duet with husband Blake Shelton. Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser and Joanna Smith will accompany Miranda.
