Description

Lecture:
Coyotes in Our Midst ~ Learning to Live with America’s Wild “Song Dog”
A lecture by Camilla Fox, the Founding Director of Project Coyote. This presentation covers coyote ecology and biology in urban and rural ecosystems, human-coyote coexistence strategies, coyote conflict management and the value of community-based conservation approaches to living with coyotes and other urban wildlife.

Film:
American Coyote ~ Still Wild at Heart
Entertaining and informative, this 30-minute film reveals the fascinating and complex world of Canis latrans: their keen intelligence, amazing resourcefulness, and importance as keystone carnivores in many ecosystems. It presents a study of the coyote’s range expansion continent-wide. While the film unfolds with the return of coyotes to the San Francisco Bay Area, it pursues the coyote’s story across the North American landscape—from Northern California to Chicago to New York City.
