"An exciting 2-day workshop with local artist, Jaya King. Over the course of a 2-day workshop we will explore how to create a strong visual narrative by using a variety of media including gouache, acrylic (and liquid acrylic inks), decorative collage papers and found objects to name a few!

Each morning will begin with a technique demonstration and discussion; the day will continue with plenty of work time and step-by-step instruction.

This workshop will urge you out of your comfort zone, embrace inspiration and translate it into a tangible vision. If ever there were a time to "Kick Start Your Creativity," it has arrived!"

There will also be a free demo on March 4th from 1:30 – 4:00pm at the Historic Hoover Theatre for people who want to see what they can expect from the 2 day workshop.
