Multi-platinum R&B icon Johnny Gill has captured the hearts of listeners worldwide for over three decades. From his solo career to his spotlight role in New Edition, Gill's soul-stirring vocal performance has stood the test of time, and continues to grow stronger with his latest album and national tour.

Born in Washington D.C., Gill honed his singing in the gospel group Wings of Faith alongside his brothers. In 1982, he recorded his first demo with the emerging funk star Stacy Lattisaw, and his debut on Atlantic Records followed the next year. After two more solo albums, the tide turned in 1987 when Gill joined the renowned R&B group New Edition. Their 1988 record Heart Break featured Gill on chart-topping hits like "If It Isn't Love," propelling the band into a more refined sound that ensured the album's longevity.

After New Edition disbanded, Gill's 1990 self-titled album launched a wildly successful solo career. Singles like "My, My, My" and "Rub You the Right Way" garnered steady air time and a loyal audience. In 1997, Gill collaborated with Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat to form the supergroup L.S.G., whose debut was certified double-platinum. Gill's latest release, Game Changer, feature the R&B legend's velvety vocals as supple as ever, promising an exciting future as Gill continues touring.
