Description
John Underwood is the definition of a one-man band. The Reno native creates a full folk band sound--all by his lonesome--with an unusual stage setup that includes a banjo, acoustic guitar, accordion, trumpet, trombone, electric bass and a small trap kit, all running through a looping station, which he controls via pedals at his feet. When he gets tired of doing all the work himself, Underwood can be found performing in one of two gypsy-folk projects--Six Mile Station and Dirty Kid Discount, both of which are also based in Reno.
