The children's Musical Theater(CMT) in San Jose was founded in 1968 to create a community-based children's theater. It is now one of the nation's largest youth musical theater and training program in its area. According to http://cmtsj.org, the mission of the theater is to train and educate children through musical theater to set and achieve high artistic and personal goals, and to inspire them to become exemplary artists, patrons and citizens of tomorrow.

Labled as "The first musical of the 21st Century," In The Heights is the Winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Original Score and Musical. This enthusiastic show brings Tony-winning upbeat dance moves to the stage through a modern Latin-flavored score; while telling a universal story of love, family and determination. This is a must see musical.
