I am an Irish artist currently working in Palo Alto, San Francisco. I work on canvas using oils. My paintings are abstract and expressive, with strong cubist influences. As evident, my work comes primarily from my imagination. My desire is to keep the raw simplicity of the image and to omit certain sections to entice the viewer in to experience the emotion within the pattern. Hopefully, the viewer will create the details they want to complete the visual impact on their own so that any painting can be personal for each viewer.
