Description
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk continues their summer concert series with the legendary hard rock band, Y&T. Formed in the early 1970's, Yesterday and Today shortened their name and started performing in sweaty rock clubs around America before the hard rock boom of the 1980's. However, once the Reagan era began, the band managed to score a number of big hits throughout the decade, including "Forever," "Rescue Me," "Mean Streak," and "Summertime Girls," which played in heavy rotation on MTV. After five top 100 albums, songs that tipped into the 40's, two Bammie Awards, and many international television appearances, Y&T's hits are still played on VH1 Classic and classic rock radio stations everywhere.
