Free and open to the public.
A special ICA Live! performance, I Will Erase all Boarders with my Little Feet, by Alice Raymond will occur during the reception.
Demarcate: Territorial shift in personal and societal mapping brings together 14 artists whose work reflects the awareness of geographical territories and boundaries. Through works on paper, sculpture, painting, textile, video and performance art, the artists thoughtfully challenge not only what is visually associated with the idea of mapping, but they also address how shifting and eradicated territories signify an emotional, social, and political need to belong to a place.
