Description
Cupertino Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge invites you to enjoy an evening of dancing, fun, and friendship. Dance old-style or new-style, swing, salsa, waltz, rumba, two-step, and more.Samy Makar, the deejay for the Cubberley Friday Night dances, will be playing the music. He and Judith Shimizu will teach short lessons in basic steps for 3 dances beginning at 6:
6:00-7:00: East Coast Swing (Jitterbug) lesson
7:00-8:00: Waltz lesson
8:00-9:00: Nightclub Two-Step lesson
9:00-midnight: Open mixed dancing, including the above three
dances and more: salsa, hustle, tango, west coast swing, cha-cha, etc.
Lesson times are approximate and may vary slightly according to students' needs.
Light refreshments provided; potluck dishes appreciated but not required.
Attire: Fun! Dressy to casual. Wear something you feel good in!
