Join Bookshop Santa Cruz as they celebrate the third issue of the Catamaran Literary Reader with a reading by Jane Vandenburgh. The author of the novels, Failure to Zigzag and The Physics of Sunset, and two nonfiction works, The Architecture of the Novel: A Writer's Handbook, and The Pocket History of Sex in the Twentieth Century: A Memoir, Jane Vandenburgh is a fifth-generation Californian, has taught writing and literature at UC Davis, George Washington University, and most recently as a Distinguished Writer-in-Residence at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California. Her most recent work, The Wrong Dog Dream: A True Romance, will be available for sale and signing at this event.
