San Jose's downtown SoFA district is the home of the newest location of North Beach'e legendary Caffe Trieste. San Jose 's Trieste serves the same cobweb-clearing espresso drinks celebrated by Bohemians and other denizens of San Francisco's Old Italy.  
 
In addition to skillfully prepared lattes, espressos, cappuccino and macchiato, Caffe Trieste's menu includes sandwiches, Italian pastries, muffins, bagels, salads, light fare, pizza and focaccia, as well as Italian beers and popular microbrews, and wine by the glass or bottle.
