Description
Caffeinated black bean juice is what Chromatic Coffee is most known for. The other thing is their frequent punk rock shows. A third thing they are hoping people will also associate with them is art. For the past couple months, they've devoted first Thursdays to showcasing local artwork. The artists they work with (similar to the bands that play there) are political, DIY and proudly flout mainstream tastes. This Thursday is Chromatic's first group show. They will be showcasing the work of four artists: Beck Levy, Takashi Makino (former singer of Ugly Winner), Jamilyn Metz and Kalahan Stoker. (Aaron Carnes)
