ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Take your ballet skills to the next level with former New York City Ballet and Bejart Ballerina, Aesha Ash! Here's your chance to train with a professional ballerina who is not only technical but also approachable and nurturing. She excels at breaking down the details to demystify the process of performing correct ballet technique. Whether you need to reach the next level in your training, or are simply interested in having fun in a dance class, Aesha will help you gain technical improvement and performance artistry.
Aesha will help release your inner grace first through a focus on correct body placement and the proper execution. Class will then progress into a short center to practice precision of movement and elaborate formal gestures, steps and poses. Class will culminate in a fun and challenging character combination. Ballet shoes required.

ABOUT AESHA ASH: Aesha has been a professional ballet dancer for 13 years. After attending the premier School of American Ballet, Aesha danced with the New York City Ballet for eight years in both soloist and principle roles. Expanding her success to include Europe, she performed as soloist with the legendary Bejart Ballet of Lausanne, Switzerland.
In 2005 she also joined Alonzo King's Lines Ballet. After years of growth and training, Aesha took her talents freelance and began working with Morphoses (founded by Christopher Wheeldon.) Aesha has been featured in such publications as Dance Magazine, Point Magazine, Bazaar, Marie Claire, the New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. She was featured in the media productions "New
York City Ballet Workout II", "Barbie Nutcracker", and as the principle dance double for Zoe Saldana in the movie "Center Stage".
