Description
Every time we sit down to eat, we make choices that have many implications besides our own taste or particular appetite. From Twinkies to trail mix, from food trucks to molecular gastronomy, and from access to excess, food options and issues are diverse, varied, and charged with meaning. Showcasing projects by artists, designers, and architects, as well as partnerships with local farmers and community groups. Around the Table will take a cross-disciplinary approach to examine food justice, the food chain, and the elevation of a meal as a celebration of cultural identity and an important catalyst in building community.
